Boarding

Kindred Animal Hospital offers dog and cat boarding. We focus on decreasing stress and noise while your pet stays with us to give them a more enjoyable experience. For that reason we limit the amount of patients we board at one time. For dogs, we typically do not board more than 4 large and 5 small/medium dogs at one time. For cats, we often do not board more than six at one time, unless housemates choose to stay together.

Dog Boarding

Our dog kennels have a plexiglass front so as not to restrict the patient’s visibility and help decrease noise. We also offer raised beds so pets do not have to sleep on the floor. Our kennels for the smaller dogs are non-stainless which also helps decrease noise.
Please note: All dogs must be up-to-date on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines in order to board with us.

Cat Boarding

Our cat room has an ‘adventure wall’ with several perch areas, hammocks, and scratching posts so cats can get out and play while they stay with us. The cat condos have a bench on the back of the kennel for lounging as well as a porthole between condos. If cats of the same household choose to stay together, or if the neighboring cage is empty, we can open the porthole to allow for more room to roam.
